POTTERY WHEEL LESSON (1 hour)
Learn the foundations of wheel throwing in this one hour guided session! Throw up to four pieces for $100. In this introductory lesson we'll teach you to make small cylinders that can be shaped into bowls, dishes, planters and more! Your first lesson is guided by one of our talented and patient instructors. Your second visit you'll be trimming and glazing your masterpieces. Please allow for up to three weeks turnaround for your pots to be fired.
THROW-BY-THE-HOUR (Solo)
Though our staff is never too far for general advice and machine assistance, studio rental time is self-directed. Customers who wish to throw-by-the-hour must book a wheel assessment test first to ensure proper use of our equipment. Throw-by-the-hour use of our space is first come first serve, and is subject to availability. Once you have completed the Intro, you may drop-in for wheel use. We encourage you to call ahead to ensure we have the capacity to accommodate you. We provide the clay (up to 8lbs), tools and materials needed to create. Return to Play with Clay to clean up your pieces and glaze them. Once glazed and fired, your pieces are ready to take home and enjoy forever. Pottery takes up to four weeks to pick up.
